1.1 From Participants
- Full name, mobile number, and email address (registration and booking).
- Age and any declared medical conditions (for safety purposes).
- Pickup location preference selected during booking.
- Payment transaction reference numbers (we do not store card or bank details).
- Signed consent form records and timestamps.
- Photos or videos uploaded to event group chats (The Huddle).
1.2 From Organizers
- Full name, mobile number, email address, and profile photo.
- Business or brand name, operating region, and Instagram handle.
- Safety certifications and guide credentials (if provided).
- Bank account details or UPI information for payment settlement.
- Event details, participant manifests, and communication records.
1.3 Automatically Collected
- Device information (model, OS version, app version).
- IP address and approximate location (city level).
- App usage data and crash reports for improving the Platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process bookings and facilitate payments between Participants and Organizers.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and event updates via SMS, email, or push notifications.
- To generate participant manifests for Organizers for safety and logistical purposes.
- To verify Organizer profiles and maintain Platform integrity.
- To resolve disputes between Participants and Organizers.
- To improve our Platform through analytics and user feedback.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With the Organizer of an event you have booked, for logistical and safety purposes (name, phone, pickup selection, consent status).
- With payment gateway partners (Cashfree, Razorpay) to process transactions.
- With Firebase (Google) for data storage, authentication, and push notifications.
- With law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by law.
- In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of Trekkr, with the acquiring entity.
4. Data Retention
- Booking and payment records: retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
- Consent form records: retained for 5 years.
- Account information: retained until account deletion, plus 90 days thereafter.
- Event chat (Huddle) messages: retained for 30 days after event date, then deleted.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules with role-based access control, and restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
